Unlike regular bullying, you don’t have to be with anyone for cyberbullying to take place; you can be alone in your room with no one around you. Even though cyberbullying is different, it can still be just as, if not more, damaging and harmful as regular bullying.

How Does it Affect the Victims?

Cyberbullying is a major cause of depression and suicide among teenagers, and is growing more and more common as phones, computers, and other technology are becoming increasingly easier to access. Girls are about twice as likely as boys to be victims and perpetrators of cyberbullying, and there have been so many cases where girls have committed suicide because they were being cyberbullied.
